Bad Bots, at first, turned me off. I played three minutes, then shelved it for a year. Just recently though, I picked it back up and gave it a go again, and was nicely surprised! The art style is actually very cool, and the weapons feel potent.. Best oldschool game! Recomend!!! 5h gameplay. I loved this platformer. It's pretty simple, but epic at the same time. It's a lot like the 2D version of Serious Sam. Just run and gun, with a TON of enemies on the screen at the same time with a epic story.+ Great Story+ Likable Characters+ LOTS of action+ Tons of Enemies + Nice Artstyle+ Entertaining boss battles+ Variety of Weapons- no music except for the boss fights- bosses can be extremely difficult (especially the last one)- It's very easy to get lost, i had to backtrack and scratch my head a few times- There isn't much variety in enemies / levels, and there's a lot of repetition.Overall Completion Time: 2hoursWhat did I pay? $1 (was in a bundle)Reccomended Price: $2.50-5. In this small 2D indie game with its comic book-ish art style and retro feel you play as a sole survivor on a spaceship filled with killer robots. With your only hope being any guns you might come across and finding some means of escape. Unfortunately the fun here is a bit detracted due to the games short length and the controls being a bit clunky (keyboard & mouse only). But despite all that blasting away at a ton of killer robots is a pretty fun way to spend a few hours.. nice touch of retro game and nice soundtrack, dont bee fooled by the first hour, nice flow and then nearly every new room is locked and spammed with bots. what a lazy ing dont play and dont waste your time.. Underrated platformer/action title. Good fun for an hour or so, slightly repetitive.. Bad Robots is a ScFi epic. Taking many influence from other brillent shooters suck as " Aliens Coloniol Marines" and "Duke Nukem Forever" you play as a on the job marine who is hired to do stuff, much like Aliens Colonial Marines thoughout the majority of the game you will find yourself having to BATTLE evil aliens, or in the case of BAD BOTs, robots. Never have i been so compilled to finish a level, because of the beatiful stunning 3d graphics i was fully captivated to learn more about the unique world, reading every bit of dialog along the way. Also another point that captivated me was the fact that the games controls where so flunt, much like Superman 64 on the nintendo 3ds gamecube model 10. Easily the greatest game ive played since ET on the atari game box machine.Id recommend this game to all children, adults, aliens, inbreeds of all age, race and chromosomes10/10 would bang
